FAQ
Q: Where does Disinfect615 operate?
A: We operate in the majority of the Nashville Metropolitan Area.
Q: Is your service damaging to any materials?
A: No. The system is fully approved for hard and soft surfaces and will not damage fabrics. It is specifically designed to be used on soft surfaces, as well as all hard surfaces.
Q: How long does it take applied product to dry?
A: Surfaces are lightly misted with product and will dry within 2-3 minutes.
Q: How long will I have to vacate the premises? How long does your service take?
A: The time required to complete each job varies from location to location, but usually takes 10-45 minutes depending on the square footage. After treatment, customers and workers are immediately allowed to return. Vacation of the whole building is not required either; we only ask that customers or workers vacate the individual room where we are currently operating. If you wish to watch us disinfect, then we ask that you wear a mask and goggles.
Q: How often do you recommend disinfection?
A: With the current state of the world, we recommend disinfection as often as possible. We understand that such an option is not viable for everyone, so we offer multiple different options. For maximized prevention of disease spread, a daily plan is recommended. For places like restaurants, which disinfect tables multiple times a day, we still suggest our service at least weekly, so that all the hard to reach places not normally treated can be disinfected. If you have recently discovered a potential outbreak in your facility, we also offer emergency treatment to mitigate further spread of the outbreak.
Q: Does your service leave residue or odors?
A: Our service leaves neither residue nor odors, and in fact can help to significantly mitigate odors.
Q: Do I need to do anything to my area before you arrive or after you leave?
A: Before we arrive on location, we will provide you a list of items to put away. These items are mostly things like plates, glasses, alcohol, silverware, food, dog bowls or anything that goes in the mouth. Along with that, we also recommend cleaning your area to remove dirt and debris, such as soil, dirt, crumbs, etc. Nothing is required of you after we leave, as our service leaves no residue, and does not require wiping down of treated surfaces.
Q: Why have I never heard of electrostatis disinfection before?
A: This Clorox ® system has been commercially available for several years, but it did not start gaining popularity in the news media or for residences until the US was faced with COVID19. The system is used widely throughout the US in healthcare, professional sports venues and education systems and has been for several years, but it was more “behind the scenes” than it is today.
Q: Why is electrostatic disinfecting better than normal disinfecting with wipes, sprays, towels, etc.?
A: Electrostatic technology enables superior coverage of trusted Clorox® solutions in hard-to-reach places — including the side, underside, and backside of surfaces. When it is used with the Clorox ® Disinfectants, it kills 99.9% of bacteria in 5 seconds, kills colds and flu viruses, kills MRSA and norovirus in 2 minutes or less, eliminates odors and inhibits the growth of mold and mildew for up to 7 days. No other system has the same proven technology or kill claims.
Q: What is the difference in the Total 360 ® Disinfectant Cleaner and the Anywhere ® Hard Surface Sanitizing Spray?
A: The Clorox® Anywhere® Hard Surface Sanitizing Spray kills 99.9% of bacteria on hard, nonporous surfaces, eliminates odors and kills odor-causing bacteria, but is not usable on porous, soft surfaces. The sanitizer claims are valid for all vegetative, non-spore forming bacteria. This product is typically used in the kitchen, day care centers or anywhere that has items that end up in the mouth.
